CLIMBING TO THE VOLCANO MISTI

This tour begins with the pick up of the passengers at 8:30 am, then we drive to the agency to take all the necessary equipment and we set off towards the Misti volcano, we take the road to the district of Chiguata until get closer to the Misti volcano. The truck leaves us at approximately 3400 meters above sea level and from here begins our treking and climbing to the top of the Misti volcano. Not without stopping at our base camp called Eagle Nest which is located at 4800 meters above sea level after 5 hrs of treking. Once we arrive at our camp, the guide together with the whole group raises the camp and rests a little. Around 6:00 pm they will serve their lunch dinner and overnight at the camp. At 2:00 a.m. the group wake up and get ready to climb to the highest part of the Misti volcano, about 4 hours walking. Once we reached the top, the guide will explain everything that can see from here and, then we walk down to the camp just to pick up the equipment and return to where we started a day before. where the 4x4 truck left us the first day, once we arrive at the meeting point, we go back to Arequipa city arriving at approximately 02:00 pm It is advisable to take Non-perishable food.
